McCloskey Motors of Colorado Springs, Colo., captured first place in the Top 10 Special Finance Internet Retailers Awards category for 2008. Awards are based on 2007 sales results. Joe McCloskey is the owner of McCloskey Motors Inc., based in Colorado Springs, Colo., owns a Suzuki Motor Corp. franchise, a used-car retail store and a NAPA Auto Parts store.

In 2007 the dealership moved around 100 special finance Internet units per month from predominately non-purchased lead sources. In 2008, in spite of industry and lending troubles, the dealership is on pace to nearly double its special finance Internet sales volume. McCloskey Motors moved up from a seventh-place ranking in these awards in 2007. To take the lead for 2008, McCloskey Motors increased its special finance Internet units sold by more than 200 percent.

McCloskey Motors utilizes Eddie Coleman’s company HyperDrive Technologies Inc. for its special finance super-converting website platform, marketing strategy, advertising placement and the Mastery Council BDC System. Coleman, who is the author of the automotive industry’s two best-selling, full-length books, “Mastering The Art Of Selling Cars Online” and “101 Internet Sales Objections,” said he was excited for and proud of McCloskey Motors because of the hard work it takes to achieve such success.

“We worked very closely with this team and we know how hard they worked to effectively master the tools we provided them,” Coleman said. “They are a great organization who is succeeding because of their unique ability to spot talent, identify opportunities, and stick to a plan beyond what most people would deem reasonable.”
