That’s NOT why they got into the car business! That is, however, exactly what it takes to be successful. We don’t focus on every minute detail of a dealer’s operation, but we have mastered much of what counts. This is in distinct contrast to the many trainers, vendors and consultants who are disconnected and completely on the outside looking in on their clients’ success - or failure.
Websites
The foundation of our business was the creation of websites that convert. In fact, the term “conversion rate” was coined by us in 1996. We knew then that what mattered most was how many customers virtually “raised their hands” by submitting a lead when they hit our sites. If a 1000 customers hit one of our sites, 250 to 450 customers will submit a lead. The average dealership website converts 5% - or a miniscule 50 leads per thousand. You do the math.
Training
In a world where today’s BDC and Internet training systems consist primarily of “Debbie the Time Life Operator Syndrome”, we broke away from the homgenized crowd and created the Mastery Council BDC and Internet Sales System.
In the world of Internet sales processes we have documented an over 90% internet lead to contact rate, a 96% appointment set rate and an 80% + show rate for a total of 69% + of all leads in the door. We have succesfully implemented our training methods and our management-by-numbers methodology in dealerships that range from stand alone BHPH to multi-franchise metro monstrosities.
Marketing
